Day 10 #AmyJohnson Massive repairs after yesterday crash. Day 4 #Solo2Darwin also repairs for #GAXAN indiscussion with #ARC about extent of damage from the loss of the spinner. Amy had to rebuild wings and new propellor fortunately she had crashed at the Government Technical Institute Rangoon. Photo is of me and G-AXAN in the hangar at Vienna which they had kindly put us at the back, but no helpful engineers now at Vienna for a vintage aeroplane! Things were looking grim.
